Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026 (draft for the beta)
This page explains what data the kalimago.uz website and the KalimaGo app collect, why, and for how long.
What the website collects
When you join the beta list: your email address, the site language, which form you used, the campaign tags of the link (utm) if any, and the time.
Optional: your answer to “Why do you want to learn Arabic?”.
For spam protection, a salted hash of your IP address (the IP itself is not stored). These records are deleted after 24 hours.
Why
To email you when the beta opens and when a new module is released, to protect the list from spam, and to fit the course to your goal. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Who processes it
The data is stored in a Supabase database. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, sends the form. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser and IP address under its own policy.
Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies, and you are not identified.
If the confirmation email is switched on, it is sent through Brevo.
In the KalimaGo app
The app stores your email address, your name (if you enter it) and your learning progress (lessons, XP, streak, test results).
To check pronunciation, your voice is recorded. In the Chrome browser, the browser sends the audio to Google for speech recognition. For the pronunciation score, a short recording is sent to the Microsoft Azure speech service and is not stored.
Recordings and handwriting that you send to a tutor for checking are deleted 30 days after grading.
How long we keep it
Your email on the list: until you ask us to remove it or the service closes. Your app account: until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. To delete your account or leave the list, write to kalimaarabtili@gmail.com; we do it within 30 days.
